SHL Aptitude Tests at Natwest (National Westminster Bank)

Natwest Logo

The National Westminster Bank (more commonly known as Natwest is the largest commercial bank in the UK. It was acquired by The Royal Bank of Scotland and has been part of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group since the year 2000.

Due to the fact that Natwest is part of the RBS Group, most of the recruitment processes between the two are intertwined. As it states on the RBS page on this website, the recruitment process is rarely the same across all the different divisions of the bank so rarely will two candidates experience the same recruitment workflow.

Like the Royal Bank of Scotland, any applicants applying to work for Natwest are likely to face at least one SHL aptitude test in the form of an SHL numerical reasoning test. There may be additional tests, but at least one online test is to be expected. Further tests could take place along the process, particularly at the assessment centre for any candidates who manage to get that far.

Due to the overlap between Natwest and RBS, PracticeSHLTests recommends reading the Royal Bank of Scotland page on this site (click here) for a full rundown of the use of tests and recruitment processes of Natwest and RBS. If however you just require some resources, please continue to read below.
