Application Process for M&G Investments

The first stage of the M&G application process is to complete their online application form, which contains a few competency based questions. Following the initial stage emails are sent out to candidates asking them to take SHL aptitude tests. Successfully navigating through the aptitude tests leads candidates to a face to face interview (though depending on the section a candidate is applying for they may also have to have a telephone interview as a precursor to a face to face interview). Providing satisfactory answers at the interview leads to candidates being invited to the final assessment centre which is an all day experience. It is not 100% clear what the length of time is between attending the assessment centre and being offered a job or being told a candidate was unsuccessful.

M&G Investment make good use of aptitude testing in their recruitment. For a number of years once the applicant had submitted their initial application they were required to complete an SHL numerical reasoning test and a verbal reasoning assessment.
