Kier Group Recruitment Process

As is often the way with most companies, Kier Group ask their applicants to fill out an online application form. One difference from some other companies is that they also ask for a copy of the applicants C.V. in an attempt to ascertain as much information about their prospective employees as possible. Those who Kier are impressed by from the initial application will be asked to attend an interview which lasts approximately 45 minutes. This interview will consist of both competency based questions as well as more personal questions about the applicants' work experience, why they want to work for Kier and what it is exactly they like about the company (to give three examples).

Those who do well in the interview will be invited to the final stage of the recruitment process which will be an assessment day, which will take place at Kier Group HQ which is based in Bedfordshire. Whilst at the assessment day candidates will have to undertake a variety of tasks standard with what candidates would associate with the content of an assessment day; A presentation to the applicants by the company, an interview more specific to the type of role the candidate is applying for, as well as some numerical and verbal aptitude tests. Those who successfully complete the assessment day are likely to be welcomed into the Kier Group family. We currently do not have any information about how long candidates must wait to hear if they have been successful after the assessment day, so if anyone has that information please comment on this page.
